Nehemiah 13 reads like an inspector's checklist or some matters of minutia. But this chapter reminds us that God's work isn't yet done. His purposes are still ongoing when the exiles return to the land. All of God's promises haven't been fulfilled yet because it is in Christ that all his promises are yes and amen!
